Before CSD: get the business records right

Keep company/director details, tax information and banking records accurate because CSD supplier information is verified against institutions including SARS, CIPC and Home Affairs.

Create the CSD user

The official process starts with a user account, email activation and OTP verification.

Add the supplier

Complete identification, industry classification, contacts, address, tax, directors/members, associations/accreditations, commodities, notifications and B-BBEE information as applicable.

Submit and obtain the supplier identifiers

Once complete, CSD assigns a supplier number and a 36-digit Unique Registration Reference Number.

Tax Compliance Status

Keep SARS returns/debt arrangements current so your tax status can be verified when required.

B-BBEE evidence

Use the correct affidavit/certificate route for your classification and sector. The B-BBEE Commission describes startups as entities operating for less than one year and explains EME/QSE treatment.

CSD is not a tender award

Registration makes supplier information available; each procurement opportunity can impose its own mandatory criteria, functionality, pricing and supporting documents.

Maintain the profile

Update changes rather than treating CSD as a once-off registration.

Connect the business side with the customer-growth side

BXE brings the website, lead capture, CRM, AI receptionist and follow-up journey together. Compliance and financial information on this site remains informational and does not replace the relevant authority or professional adviser.
